Teaching/Arranging
Devin has given music lessons for six years. He has experience with various levels of previous training, and has worked with adults and children. His areas of instruction include piano (classical, rock, and jazz), guitar (rock), and composition/songwriting.
Currently he is available for guitar and piano lessons in San Francisco. These lessons are private, and the student can chose the style they wish to learn (i.e. traditional classical, jazz, popular, etc.). He offers in home lessons as well as lessons in his studio.
Devin's skills as an arranger have been requested across the globe. His list of employers have included the University of the Pacific, composer and Emmy-Award winner Glen Roven , owner of Almond Productions Jon Williams , and others. He has created arrangments for a wide variety of musical mediums (piano reductions, string quartets, small orchestra) as well as musical styles (classical, broadway, reggae). His work as a music transcriber is also vast; he has produced a variety of sheet music realizations upon request.
